I just got done making my new template for the GoogTube blog and im looking for some feedback on it.

This is the first time i have ever created a blog template, In fact it's the first time iv created any kind of template, So iv'e probably made a bunch of mistakes.

I done it with CSS. It has a bunch of validation errors, But i'm not too worried about that.

Anyway, Let me know if you think something could be different,/taken out/improved.

I think it's too dark and glumy; depressing and tiring. However, that doesn't mean a dark scheme should be scrapped, I think you should just work it a little more.

The v2.0 means nothing to no-one, maybe other than you failed on your first attempt and are frantically trying to build a better version. I'd scrap it.

Try to blend your ads in better, and use the resource by Google, https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...page=tips.html

Personally, I'd also arrange my archives by descending order, not ascending as you usually want people to see the latest and greatest.

Other than that, I must congratulate you on being able to successfully modify a blogger template, as they are seriously messed up things. I'd rather eat my own eyes out than attempt to create one of those things.

Yeah i was thinking about making it a little lighter. It looked ok on my laptop, But i looked at it on a friends PC the other day and for some reason it looked a lot darker on his machine.

I may also put one of the ad blocks at the top under the video. I'll give it another week like this so i have some CTR data to go by then start doing some testing.
