Formerly the site I used for my LAN Party group, but we've since changed the name. Now it's parking for my site until my contract with netfirms is up and I can move to a new host with my own hostname.

Tried to reach your site on two occasions to give a review. Both times I got a 504 Gateway Timeout, server unreachable.

the site is working. i didnt get any 504.
for the right column, consider different color for links. red over blue is not so good
at the top, there is some blank space and a message : loading webring.
but it is not loading even after a long time

Some of your colours work great but when i got to your links page the black red and grey did not match the rest of your site. I think that if you keep your colours simple and unform then it more pleasing to the eyes

I didn't have a problem with the page loading slow however the colors on the link page I will agree makes it very hard to read you should consider changing the colors.

Like anothers said, the design and colors must be match to look a great site. But, the important thing are contents + traffics.

I think it helps that I advertise on JohnChow's website through AdWords. In fact, I found webmaster-talk through your ads on his site. Also, the articles submitted to Digg help a good bit. Just don't write spammy things to get on Digg, they'll ban your url (and redirects = ban).

I'm also using my own system with php/mysql in the backend, so it's still lacking a few search engine optimizations here and there (ie, title). I'm getting there, though. I like running my own system(s). I learn a lot more, and it seems to work pretty well. Just too much still left to implement.

As for the links page, I updated it a bit. The one that was there before was probably 4+ years old from the very original site. I never changed it until now. Mind you, that's not a finished links page. It still needs styled.
