Hi,

I haven't been posting for a while but I've just finished coding my own blog and I was interested in some feedback.

A couple of days ago, I spontaneously decided to create my own blog. But rather than being boring and going to 'Blogger.com' I thought I'd code my own. My programming strength lies within Coldfusion so the site's in CFML.

I'm still doing some 'behind the scenes' work but I finished the main facia of the blog last night (it took me two evenings to complete). I know that it looks pretty horrible but I've taken a break from my 'Graphic Design' label and decided to focus on a bit of coding for a change.

I wasn't trying to spawn a work of art but I'd still be interested if anyone has any suggestions for how I could improve upon the site. Here's the link:

Kudos, for building your own blog!

If this site it for the purpose of honing your programming skils then great. If however, your intent is to actually blog, then almost any one of the open source blogs out there have got a huge head start in functionality, especially when you consider plug-ins.

The existing ones will be more "community" friendly.

Just a thought.

the blog is nice.
i felt bored seeing all the blogs of blogger.com
and this blog looks different.
it is always great to create once own blog.
