I don't know much about gaming, but your design and layout look pretty darn good. Very organized and professional. And I would wait before you put up ads, at least until you've built up a good amount of traffic.
The only thing I can suggest is to keep an eye out for your grammar. It's not bad, but there were a few parts where I couldn't understand what you were trying to say. Just make sure to do a quick proofread
