Just launched my blog @ www.itscooper.co.uk
It's my personal blog that I'm using to talk about things that interest me. I talk mainly about teaching and technology, but also like to post my photos somewhere. So these are my main three categories.
I've tried to organise the site so that it's easy to use. I wanted it to feel more like a standard website as opposed to a blog (hence the categories being in the main menu).
The blog is likely to be slow at the mo, since it's on my own server at my house in the UK. I was thinking of upgrading to a better server. Do you think it's too slow as it is?
I've never written a blog before, and I know I've probably got some work to do on my writing style. What do you think about how I've written the few posts so far?
I've used a wordpress theme that I like, but is fairly popular. I've modified it to a huge extent to try and make it my own. Even though it's a set theme, I have a lot of experience in programming PHP, and can therefore modify most things if I put my mind to it. So feel free to suggest anything I should change about the layout/structure of the site.
