A very good site with a nice template and plenty of content. It's presented very nicely overall.
There are a few things I might change if this were my own site: - Firstly, I'm hit by millions of ads at the top of the page. Too many ads at this key point can discourage users from reading on. There's nothing wrong with a few ads here and there, but it may make sense to spread them about a bit. I would probably remove the ads next to the menu, and directly below the menu. If you want to make money through ads you can't scare users away.
- Second: the website seems very busy to me. I know many blogs are like this, but the most successful are clear and concise. I would probably start by removing any widgets that you don't really need. I think that would help a lot... there's nothing wrong with a bit of empty space here and there.
This is just what I would personally do, but the blog is very good as is, so I wouldn't worry too much.
