Personally I think you have a very clean design, with very cool games. Great integration/placement of rating and commenting, lovely template. You succeeded in aims that you mentioned, those are some good points.
If possible get a more lighter color for your header, to make it look more inviting. If possible, add something in between your header/navigation, maybe something like popular games or some type of banner. You have a animation on your header/navigation, if possible animate as you scroll through games or highlight them. My opinions might seem pointless, but that's how it looks to me.
