I have a new blog at http://www.e-medicalarticles.com and I would like to get your thoughts, suggestions, etc on the layout, adsense placement, etc.

The design is simple nothing special about it, I think you should remove the first ad at the top of the page because you have 2 ads below it having too many ads in the same place makes the site look a bit spammy.

Place an ad at the bottom of the page, rather than on the side.

Create some separators between posts.

The design looks good. Though I think you need to emphasize your date title post which is "Baby Medical Issues". I think it would be better to make that text little bigger to make it look differently from your article titles. You may also add some style or design on it.

Same with your article titles. Better to change their colors to make it look more eye-catchy and interesting...

Your Blog design is looking so good and color pattern used also great.
Don’t place too many add units at the same place, adjust placing at bottom of the blog also.

The domain name goes well with the Blog and i find that this is very good for your blogs search engine optimization.

The adsense placement is very good and i like the way the blog is laid out.

Personally, i think that cutting up the text on the site into more places so that it is easier to read would help alot and would keep visitors more interested in what you have to say on the blog.

I agree with the others, that the design is way to simplistic for the type of blog it is. You're going to want to feature more elements, and highlight categories and major interests.

Its simple and plain. In my opinion, you need to work on theme and correct ad placement. You have too many ads on top which don't look very good.

Too many ads and use some space between posting...and use different color at 'read more' so your reader will not confused when read your articles...and other looking good...

you may want to tweak some ad placements in your blog. I think the blog has a nice design and proper placements are the only thing you need to make it look better

Hi hmilesjr,

I think the adsense placement is spot on. It's not my cup of tea, but from what I know of ad placement you did a good job. My only suggestion is with the actual article placement and visibility.

How spammy/ad-driven do you want to get with this site? I think you could play with the balance a little bit maybe by putting the med article excerpts in bulleted lists to make them more visible.

That might detract from the ads a tiny bit, but it would probably also offset that by adding more credibility to the site, which in turn might increase the time spent on the site, which in turn would probably increase adsense clicks.

Just a thought. Good job.

Layout is generally used and many professional bloggers use it, and adsense placement is really good, but where as my experience says the placement of adsense code after the end of content is pretty good.

Template and site looks very clean and simple. The content is so packed with good information I guess. Ad placement looks good as well.

One thing that I want to suggest for your content is that, if you have some time to put up some pics relevant to the articles or your blog posts then it will be much better than just a plain article or post. Readers also get attracted to interesting pictures and illustrations that you can put on your blog.
