I just now started a blog, where I am going to be writing about a lot of the things I learned as I get more experienced as a webmaster. I kind of got this together real quick, but let me know what you think. Feel free to leave comments on any of the articles as well. And be as critical as you want to, its what helps me improve.
I will probably get a domain name tomorrow (well, today I guess, since its 3 am, lol), but I haven't decided if I like the name or not, so I'm just going with that subdomain for now. Feedback on the name is also welcome.
Blog looks good. I would be careful on blogging everyday. It will keep you up in the search engines. But mentally it might burn you out. I started out doing it but now I post every 2 or 3 days.
If you plan on posting daily, I would suggest utilizing the timestamp feature or a post later plugin / service to schedule post. You can also look at integrating voice driven post through sites like jott.com or ping.fm.
That's a blog? Look like a forum. Sweeeeeeeet header. But direct the domain not to the mashed up forum squished inthe middle. You won't get no customers thataway I been there. I used a geo search aggregator once with this kind of forum function design and we got NOBODY to post. BTW do forum posters and blog commenters have the same login or separate?
