I will be changing the color scheme to match, soon.

Eh, it's okay. Not bad, but it doesn't strike me as terribly good looking or professional. Personally I don't like the layout of the header, but that's just my opinion.

First that that stood out was the text at the top, the red with black and the glow. Nice. Caught my attention.

I liked the header, and how I was kinda pushed along to scroll down.

It didn't stand out to me but I looked all the way down to give you some suggestions. One is top commentator's remove yourself from it because it just doesn't seem fair for the admin to be in the top commentator. Design is alright not too fantastic.
