Hey,

My entire site (http://www.devink.ca) is written in ASP and MS ACCESS MDB. I want to be able to edit my databses with out the direct access of msaccess and I want to cut down the size of my db's. Preferably, I would like to use a totaly text databes, eg:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
| ID | name | secondname | thirdname |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
| 1 | 1 | 2 | 3 |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
| 2 | 1 | 2 | 3 |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
| 3 | 1 | 2 | 3 |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But if I had to settle with a dbase I certainly would.
Anyone know the code I should use to open these kinds of db's?

Thanks in advance!

Devin

Replace the driver on your connection string with "Microsoft dBase Driver" Or "Microsoft Foxpro VFP Driver".

If you know VB. you get this easily using ADO Control and click "generate connection". just select the above drivers and it will automatically create the connection string you needed.
