Hello,
I am using Dreamweaver CS3 to edit web pages (which are all .asp files) in English and Korean. Since I could not view Korean chracters of the web pages (which have been created by someone else) in Dreamweaver, I changed the Windows Vista's "Language for Non-Unicode Program" to "Korean" (in addition to changing Preferred Fonts to Korean in Dreamweaver).
After that, I can see and edit Korean characters in Dreamweaver. However in file paths, the "\" character now appears as a W with a slash through. I heard that this is normal.
However, when I try to test and edit an .asp file on my system's testing server by using http://localhost command, I get an internal server error. I don't get this error when I test other non .asp files (i.e. jpg or .htm/.html files). If I change "Language for Non-Unicode program" back to English, .asp file works on testing server. But changing back & forth betwen English and Korean for "Language for Non-Unicode program" is very incovenient since I have to reboot my system every time.
Does anyone know how to test an .asp file by using http://localhost command with "Language for Non-Unicode program" set to Korean on Windows Vista? Any help would be greatly appreciated?
