For reasons unknown to me, I can't get a simple flash (.swf) file with backend XML file to play in ASP.net. Why is that?

I've seen many examples that work, but when I try to do it.. it doesn't work... at all.
Do I suck that badly?

Here's the big example of what I want:

As I said... it doesn't work in ASP.net... is there a way to get it to run that you may know of?

Flash is a client side technology. ASP.NET is a server side technology they simply do not have anything to do with each other.
The ASP.NET part is well and truly finished before the Flash even starts.

Hey y'all. Thanks for the reply.
chrishirst: Yeah, I kinda gathered that, but I thought there was a way to do something to get it to load server side.

HivelocityDD: I will check out your link and report back here.

Thanks all for the replies.

We will need to see your code to tell you why it doesn't work BTW

All the server side code can do is deliver the HTML to the client browser, now if you have malformed the code that is to be delivered to the client ....

If your running the asp page through a web server, then it should be working just fine, on the client side all the browser sees is the HTML.
