i just stumbled across a job description which reads

Quote:
Our client has an immediate need for a programmer to assist them with a compatibility project. You will be taking ASP, VB and SQL code and making it compatible with Mozilla 1.4
ok - so is there a mozilla server or something i don't know about? i've never heard of server-side scripts having browser compatibility issues.

whatNext,

It doesn't -- this is someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. I get questions all the time about a site developed in PHP that looks fine in IE but not in Netscape and what do they need to do to their PHP scripts to fix the problem.

It's a basic misunderstanding of how server-side scripting works or worse, a complete lack of understanding of the client-server construct of the world wide web.
