I am looking for a system/tutorial/example that shows how to run multiple websites from a database - sort of like a shopping mall system where user would sign up and a new site would be created. Basically I want to know what the best way to manage account information when the user has there own domain name - is there a way i can see which domain the site visitor has come through then use that to filter database results so the correct site will be shown - would i have to put the site files within the hosting account for the registered domain or could i just point the domain name to a sub folder within the main site?
I hope that makes some sorta sense to someone!!
