I'm working on an asp application. I know how to send emails. Is there a way I can let the user send a test email, without sending them to a new page when they press a button?

It could theoretically be done with AJAX. I don't know exactly how since I've never done it before (and can't really think of a good reason to), but it could be done by passing parameters via AJAX to a processing URL.
