Hello!

I am helping the owner of this (http://northtexaslandcouncil.com/) site update the search menu he has when one logs into the website. I am not very skilled in this script at all, and I need some major help.

He wants to create what is now an input box into a drop down menu (this will have names and he wants it to filter to whatever name one selects), add another drop down menu (one is acres; the new one he wants to be sq. feet) and an additional input field for a number code. While I can easily add these to the menu, I have not been able to make them work so they display the results without an error coming up.

Does anyone known of a place where I can get a quick tutorial about how to work with this? I have tried Google already and have not yielded much at all. Or would any of you be able to help me?

If you need to see the codes, I would be more than happy to put them up.

You have two options. If your site is driven by a database, you would need to write some code to query it to perform a search. Or you could hook into Google's api. The database is really the preferred route.
