SEO, also known as Search Engine Optimization, is the art of
improving the ranking of a certain website on a search engine to
maximize traffic flow and revenue. The continuous problem with SEO is
that it may take a year or so to maximize a site’s ranking on a search
engine, especially on Google.com. Since SEO lacks the immediate ranking
capability, many people look towards PPC methods, Pay per Click.
However, the issue with PPC methods is that it is known to be a waste
of money for many people. Both systems, however, are recommended to be
used in unison. SEO does have the ability to be the best system
useable; it is known for its tendency to maximize profit.
Now
you ask which system is the best to use. My opinion is to use both of
them. Establish a SEO system with a PPC system. Once your ranking hits
the top, rid of the PPC system, you’ll hardly need it. Using both of
these systems in unison, however, is EXTREMELY profitable, and will
bring you enormous amounts of traffic. When these two systems work
together, they deliver, and they deliver extraordinarily.
SEO
can be expensive at times. For example, if you were to want to have
your Life Insurance website ranked on the top on a search engine, you’d
have to fork out at least $100,000 a year. However, even by spending
that much on optimization, your return will be even better.
Why is SEO so much more profitable than Pay-Per-Click?

PPC, what are the main advantages?
The
Pros: Quick flow of traffic, leading to profit. Within hours or within
several days, your PPC system will be working at full throttle.
If
you have just started your SEO system and have PPC as well, you’ll
obviously see that the PPC system is more beneficial. However, do not
be fooled, once your SEO system has established its footing, it’ll
sweep away anything the PPC was giving you.
If you want profit,
you must think, PPC will get you that traffic, but is it worth all of
the money you must invest into it? You must determine whether the
return is good enough. SEO will give you top dollar on your return, but
between the time it takes for it to be ready, is PPC really the best
option? My honest opinion is below:
Honestly, to put things
straight, SEO provides you with a long-term return on your marketing
dollar. Pay-Per-Click can eventually cost hundreds of dollars which
will be pointless to spend after the SEO is on its way. Use both
systems, but as soon as SEO begins to return your marketing dollar,
you’ll know that you’re ready to let go of PPC, sit back, and enjoy the
rolling in of continuous profit.
