Lately (or, really for awhile now) my site's been getting a nice amount of hits, and i'm hoping for more to come when it gets re-listed on the search engines. Anyhow, I want to expand my site, with a discussion forum which will probably use a lot of bandwidth. I was thinking that maybe joining in some affiliate programs would help me pay for the costs.

Well I was searching for hours yeasterday with hardly any luck! I went to some site that explained about it, and it linked to an entire directory of affiliate programs. I went through each one hoping to find a good one, with no luck at all and i wasn't quite sure what to do. Then someone mentioned Google Adsense, and i figured that i might as well try it.

Does anyone know anything about this Google Adsense thing? I've already signed up for it but has anyone tried it? Are there any requirements for it or do they accept just about any site?

Adsense is kind of selective in the sites they approve.
