Have you heard of Burstmedia.com before? Seems like it is more less like valueclick and doubleclick. They provide you with a code, you put in your site and you start winning some money. At least, that's what they say.

For those in the know... can you trust these guysof Burstmedia? Do they pay? Is there any thing I should know about them.

I'd appreciate a response.

Regards,

eljorje

Welcome to Webmaster-Talk!

From what I have heard, Burstmedia is good. And they do pay.

The hard part is getting accepted with them. Most of these types of networks are very hard to get into (because they are only looking for certain types of sites, and also usually require high traffic). These networks pay in CPM or CPC.

I would try www.FastClick.com first and then www.Burstmedia.com and then www.Valueclick.com

Doubleclick is the best, but they are extremeley hard to get excpeted into.

If you get accepted into more than one, then try them both and see witch one performs the best.

You made into Fastclick?! Great job Alton!

I used to make $50 a month from them. Not much, but paid for hosting. But you need decent traffic to make any real money from any network (unless you are using targetted lead programs)....

I really like them.

Lookin good Alton!

By the way, you can disable banners you don't like in the fast click banner settings...And it shows how much each one pays you either in CPM or CPC....

They are to completely different types of networks...

CJ pays per lead and mostly per sale.

Fastclick pays CPM and CPC...
CPM = Cost per Impression - The amount you will get paid for every 1000 impressions of their banner on your site.
CPC = Cost per Click - You will be paid this per click.
In there popunder program you will make around $2.50 per 1000 popunders you display on your site (if you chose to use them).
They also have these new invue ads that are kind of cool.

Also, upload some defaults...

hmm...seems like alot for 2.50

wow..so everytime someone clicks that banner ..I will get .16 for instance..that could ad up...seems better than CPM

In there popunder program you will make around $2.50 per 1000 popunders you display on your site (if you chose to use them).

same as CPM

They also have these new invue ads that are kind of cool.

Also, upload some defaults...

Dont understand this part

Thanks

It varies on who is reviewing your website. For my previous "gaming" website I double clicked the submit button and submitted my site twice. The first one was regected then a couple hours later I got an accepted copy. Altonpost, generally if your site looks good and has useful content will help alot more then high traffic. I have some messageboards which get around 100-400 uniques a day yet no ad networks will accept me because of that. Muhahah, soon to change (evil grin).
