Hi,
i am in the search of affliate programs for teenwebsites. Not ones that are only offered to only teen webmasters (I am too old for that).

I have a plan. I want to make a webpage(s) for one of my screen names on aol. I was very fortunate to get that screen name because i worked for aol at the time. its a hugely sought after name. but its a pain in the butt because I have teens IMing me all day/night long thinking I am somone else or that I stole their screen name and they are snotty little buggers when i try to tell them they have the wrong screen name and some threaten to kick my @ss when they see me next (sigh, they are kidding so no one get hurt). so i figured if I had a auto response that had link to a webpage maybe they will start clicking on some things

but i want whatever i put on there to be good and clean. i dont want to lead them to pages thats going to load their computers with spyware or lead them to adult only sites.

does anyone have any ideas? I was looking in commission junction but the "teen" category was grayed out.

Instead of looking at affiliate programs maybe try to work out a deal with some an entertainment site that would want general teen traffic.

Just out of curiosity and to give us a better idea how to help you, could you tell us more specifically what the screen name is about? (I can't see why you wouldn't want to give out the exact sn, lol )

. I am sure they would. but being that I have a tween (preteen) myself I don't think that would be appropriate.

I wish I could say the screen name, but the last thing I would need is MORE people iming me every five seconds saying "whos dis? whyd you put your screen name on my buddy list!" or my favorite IMs "you broke into my account, give me my screen name back!"

can you site compete with cartoons.com, disney.com or nick.com and nickjr.com?
In any case, what age group your site is targeting. If you have anything oriented for highschool, pre-college or even college students I would be interested to participate.

And they are going to pay with what credit cards exactly?

If you want to make money off untargeted traffic (demographic is targeted but they aren't looking for anything in particular) your best bet is going to be active-x

How about experimenting by setting up a MediaPlazza account. (Ringtones, Java games, Wallpapers etc. for cellphones)

It's free to join, and you might even make a few bucks with it.

I think Google is the best for teenagers. Google ads are usually relavent. So, if a teenager is looking for a Ferrar F50, and thats what your web site is about, than Google displays Ferrari ads. They won't get random ads that ask if you want to quit smoking or anything. Its also totally clean (at least since your web site is clean).

Lol - what an interesting story - haven't heard of that before!

Sorry to state the obvious, but join Tradedoubler and CJ and search for "teen".

I am so curious as to what your screename is I'm tempted to ask you to PM me (I don't have AOL!)

Good luck!
