Best Web Hosting Affiliate Program?

I've done so much searching and always seem to find myself back here...

I'm looking to start a web business that is partially funded by the revenue generated from signing up clients with a web hosting company. Looking for the highest payout is essential to the success of my business (at this point), however I'm not going to sacrifice service for money. This dilemma has lead me to procrastinate out of concern for solvency and maintaining an excellent reputation.

I'm looking for a hosting company to partner up with that can provide the affiliate program of a ThinkHost or Startlogic, where there are $100+ referrals. I plan on having a high number of shopping cart transactions per day and need as many databases as possible.

I'm currently with 1&1, and have recently found out how fast a database can fill up. I also just noticed their disclaimer:

"The MySQL database may not be used for log evaluation operations, ad clicks, chat systems, banner rotations, or similar applications putting extreme loads on the database under any circumstances."

I need every service available and don't want to get a VPS or dedicated server during the beta phase....

So...what's the best $100+ per referral, shared hosting package, that will provide everything including Drupal/Joomla compatibility for around $100/year?

Several companies that pay flat ~$50 or more per sale. We also pay $50 per sale for our affiliate program.

I think the first thing you need to focus on is the product/service.

The commission doesn't matter if the product is bad.

Apart from that I think either residual income is a huge bonus. Im also a big fan of the programs that pay a $30+ one time commission each sale because you can forget about the sale after instead of checking your stats all the time to see whos still a customer and who is not.

Whatever you do don't sign up with PowWeb hosting or their affiliate program. They offer an unbelievable UNLIMITED hosting package for $4 a month, but shut your site down if you have more than 10 MySQL database connections at once. Which isn't listed in their hosting package whatsoever. Plus, I sent 1000's of leads to their website and personally referred 4 clients and never received any commissions. Shared hosting is a scam no matter how you put it. Anyone with a normal computer can host their own website without paying a hosting company.
