I have been hearing a lot about Twitter. What is it, and is it worth looking into? I am looking for good ways to promote my blog. Another question, is it better to have a blog with a specific domain name rather than to blog on a site like hubpages? I am new to this, so would like the help.

I really enjoy it because it gives you a max of a 140 char message. This forces people to get to the point and give you a link if you want to read further.

I'm also not familiar with these...and I also saw this twitter logo on different social bookmarking sites.

some say its some kind of micro blogging. I have been using it for a while and it can be fun and traffic can also come from that site, though, not that much of a targeted traffic...
