Just wondering which methods of advertising affiiates have found to be the most succesful? E.g sponsered links on google, buying email lists,, banner advertising, um i'm not too sure of any more, what are the other options to get traffic?...:blink:

I think Google adword is the best for your advertising. Also posting in forums good. Try to submit articles with your link.

I like google adwords also, the only thing I found was it got quite costly as the cost per click seemed to go up and up for my key words, like some of them $1 to $1.50

Did anyone knows more abt google adword.If so can i get more info.

Google adwords is nice and targeted but it's pretty expensive especially if you don't know what you are doing. Good ways to advertise IMO are forums, article marketing, traffic exchange, PPC (to some degree). The more methods you use the better the result!

It all depends what kind of affiliate program you promote. In general it is better to promote in various ways rather than stick with one strategy. Some of the effective techniques are,

- Google adwords
- Banner ad in your site
- Email marketing
- Forum signature, etc.,

Try all the techniques...

Google Adwords need a little investment everyday, so there's a risk involved. "Pixel advertising" may be new to some of you, because it is still not widely used. This can be a new way to advertise your web or product.

What i feel is what ever method you use if your ads are placed on high PR page, it would matter the most as they would have high traffic. Or you can place your ads to those site who are going through SEO.
