I'm having moderate success with PPC marketing of a few affiliate products, and am interested in expanding into other markets.

For those of you finding success, how do you go about choosing your affiliate products? It's difficult enough finding / choosing a niche, but once that has been done, how do you choose which product to promote? I'm getting decent CTR on some of my campaigns, but they're not converting, which tells me that the sales page / product isn't cutting it.

Any ideas for screening / qualifying products to promote?

I would choose a high demand consumable products that is not available in stores. For Online affiliate marketing, I go with stuff that people already do like searching online or social network marketing site. There are companies that pays you to do what you are already doing.
