Selling things other than guides on how to sell things on the internet?

It seems to be that all of these people are getting rich selling the dream to people. No product just selling you a self-perpetuating guide to making money...

I started down that path, then decided I just couldn't do it. Instead I decided to try to make a site that people could use for something they were already doing. Here's are most of the "secrets" in my opinion. Create a huge opt in list, let them know you have a "secret", hope 1% are willing to part with their money for a dream. Then move on to the next secret, using the same list. If my site isn't profitable, so be it. I just couldn't be another person in your inbox selling a sad exchange, hard earned money for the dream of easy money.

The Answer is yes, people make money as affiliates, not just by selling ebooks. The key to success is focused, hard work. It's not just slapping a page on the internet and waiting for the money to roll in. But for those willing to put in the work, the sky is the limit. I've seen everything from folks earning $8 to $45,000/month off one site, and at PubCon last year, met many who were making 7 figures annually as affiliates.

I agree as people make plenty of moeny for selling other peoples goods or info. It isnt just people preying on other peoples dreams of bring rich.

The answer is yes but it depends on how focus you are and if you really believe in the product. People succeed while others fail marketing the same products to the people.

personally I don't think any type of affiliate program where you sell things has a good chance of making you a lot of money. I know some people do well with this, but I personally think there are better optios for your avereage joe to pursue.

I never used to believe in all this "MONEY ON THE NET" stuff! 95% of it is people trying to rip off people by selling them their own dream! And if you think about it, if someone said to you that they could make your dream come true but its going to cost you $500 to find out how etc. then you would probably hand over the money! Especially if you believed them!!
I now make a good living off the internet after someone dared me to try out a particular technique, i wont go into too much detail as i respect this forums rules on affiliate advertising, but if anyone wants to find out how i did it then i dont mind pointing you in the right direction. Just PM me. It worked for me, and i believe it will work for anyone if they follow the rules.!
At the end of the day we are all looking for the same thing,
FINANCIAL FREEDOM!

In the end we all find out there really is no "easy" money. The methods that actually work all require at least a decent amount of effort.

Well, there are some that make a few bucks (most), there are some that make a nice living and if you believe all the crap on forums, there's a whole lot of 17 year olds making a million + per year. I personally believe nothing until I see proof.

My experience has been that with hard work, you can make some nice money. What is "nice money" to me might be a fortune to you.

Oh, and if you're like me, you can have something just go off in your head like a lightbulb where you say, "Oh man....I can't believe I just made this much money".

It depends what you are selling.To make money fast,affiliate programs is the hotest products that you make money if you follow the system they are using.

The quality of goods will be important too.

I joined nearly a few affiliates but none seem really making money to me. I am still looking for a good one. Something not to associate with Clickbank. Hope I can get out of this circle soon.

Yes there are quite a few who are really making it big. But they won't give us the secrets unless we take then as our mentors.

You seem to be asking a blanket question for which there is no correct answer.

Ask a realtor if he makes money.
Ask a doctor if he makes money.

Some will do really well, some will just scrape by, and others will do abymally.

If you look at some of the internet marketers living it up, and if they've been doing it for at least 5 years, i believe it should be the real life proof that you need....


of course, if you're in the x-files camp, it could be one whole massive deception....
