I searched but couldn't find anything related.

Recently I clicked on a hoplink I setup to check it was coming up on the publisher's site correctly. I noticed that each time I clicked on it, the site only showed the publisher's domain minus my hoplink, but I confirmed it was still counting my hoplink.

Is this little trick done with an htaccess rewrite or something? I will be selling my own product soon and would love to hide my affiliate's hoplinks as well. I'm guessing it will bring more sales.

if you know a little php, it can be as simple as a redirect using header("location: your.hoplink.url.here");

create a new php page with the header.
call that page instead of the hoplink, and voila... you're cloaking!

Yes, this works well when you're promoting someone else's product. I do this already.

What I meant really was if a potential customer now clicks on that php redirect you made with header("location: your.hoplink.url.here"); it will redirect to my server, only this time the hoplink will not show on the URL, only my domain.

I'm not sure if this goes against Clickbank TOS, but I've seen sites doing it.
