I have a rather large website, full of niche content and a target audience. I recently have been trying to diversify my revenue and joined Linkshare.

Once I joined I browsed through their offers/companies and picked 4 that matched my target audience specifically, thinking they would have the best opportunities of success.

I applied for the four programs. I was turned down for the programs. Each time I received an automatic denial that listed:

1. lack of traffic
2. website not live
3. content not appropriate
4. inability to access website

The interesting thing is that none of these reasons could be valid. I have a very successful and busy site. Enough so that I direct sell advertising to "big boys" because they contact me.

Anyone manage to get into a linkshare affiliate program successfully?

Could your site have been down when they checked? How many uniques do you get?

No, my site has not been down in months. I get 7500 uniques per day.

Linkshare usually responds pretty quickly if you send them an email. Much faster than Commission Junction

I would send them an email. I have been with linkshare for well over 5 years. I have also joined some of their programs and I got approved with most of them. I have earn't not good money from LinkShare, but some money.
