I often read about how some of the very top guys make millions from their affiliate activities in PPC. But how do they do it? Has anybody got knowledge of what their strategy is?

e.g. do they have a lot of tools that auto create sites by scraping content and then slap a template page down after using SpyFu to get keywords, then a tool to auto group those keywords etc? Or do they have a team of content writers to create the landing pages, a copywriter to write the sales pitch and a team for the PPC?

Most of the top earners do arbitrage and hire professional landing page designers to build pages that convert.

First let me say that you're thinking properly. I'm not suggesting that your hypothesis is correct or that I support content scraping, but you've got your thinking cap on straight and, IME, that's at least 50-75% of success in this game.

Arbitrage works. But on the scale you're talking about (7-figures plus), we're well beyond a landing page here, a landing page there.

I personally prefer arbitrage because I do PPC management for a living so I know how to get cheap, converting traffic. However, I do wish that I had the time to build an organic niche content site for myself. If I were just getting started now, that's what I'd do -- choose something I am interested in, dominate a niche or sub-niche, and slowly build a network from there. THAT... is the beginning of a business model.

great input rob. and as he stated its not about a page here and there its about 100's or 1000's of pages at time. cause you want to target target target!

Some also own Incentive sites ( like me ) so its not all profit, i made 2.7k PROFIT in may alone, but made over 5k in affiliates in may.

We need some examples of good landing pages and what are good conversion rates.

The landing page isnt that important. The lnading page on the CPA offer works fine. What is more important is getting lots of traffic and making money. Thats key. You need traffic to get the leads and money.
