CPA Empire - Delayed Campaigns?

So, I'm a bit new to CPA Empire and the first day, I had great results. After 200 clicks, I had around a 6% ratio (leads/clicks). This was great. After getting 700 clicks in the last 40 or so hours, I've got about 4 leads.. This is absolute crap, as that's less than a 1% ratio, which is extremely unlikely.

Is it possible that the campaign just has not reported new leads, or am I just getting screwed?

I've also noticed that sometimes the stats don't load after a refresh (sometimes it seems as though it reloads every hour and then today I noticed it updating every 5 minutes).

Anyone have similar experiences with CPA Empire?

lots of funky things happen with campaigns. Sometimes pixels 'fall off' and conversion ratios die. There is a very popular dating site out there that is famous for such drops. For 12-48 hour periods conversions will drop from 15% to 2%... VERY frustrating.

I'd be quicker to blame the advertiser than CPAEmpire. The advertiser controls the pixels firing, not CPAE.

Could also be times of day and traffic that accounts for such things. But it is an unfortunate reality of the industry. In the long term it all comes out in the wash. if you find it conisitent - dump the advertiser, not the network.

Well, it's deciding to turnover now.. getting around 6% (leads/clicks) and around $70 per day.

Guess I've gotta try a few more campaigns out then.. stinkin advertisers..

You have to watch that with some offers and merchants listed with any affiliate network. The amount of emails I get from Affiliate window (UK affiliate network) saying things like "there are errors in the tracking so that you may not get properly tracked for your sales with merchant ABCDE.com at this time. We will compensate you back, but please take this merchants links of your site until the tracking issue has been solved with this merchant.

Hard to comment without knowing the campaign you're running, but if it's a simple form-fill campaign with a number of fields for the surfer to fill out, the merchant might be filtering out leads based on the data of the user. They might be filtering out AOL leads since few people can mail to them, or if the IP address doesn't match the zip code the surfer signed up with, or who knows. Generally speaking, the more restrictive the offer, the higher the campaign will pay. Few merchants will give full details on how they validate their leads.

could be pixel issues, could be the network, or could be your traffic just sucks... now if you had been running it at a much higher ratio then it dropped i would be mad and contact the network.... cause it does no one any good when you stop running the offer because of poor converts.

I've had the same troubles with CPA-Empire, almost exactly like your dilema. Although, I'm not sure you can blame the network, but possibly the offers they run.

I hopped on Azoogle, just to try them out for ringtones and made 7 leads the first day. I had been averaging 2-3 at the most on CPA-Empire. *shrug*

I'd suggest, if you can, to try out other networks, with the same offer, or a similar offer. Worked well for me.. I can't say CPA-Empire is a bad network though, been with them for almost a year now, but that doesn't mean there isn't something better..
