I'm in the process of building a site called theviolinteacher.com .As you can already guess,this website is dedicated on giving violin lessons online. I guess you can say that it's kind of like Jermaine Griggs' piano lesson website hearandplay.com , but instead for the violin. However, this website will be far more professional than anything avaliable at the moment. I've seen the competition and it's beyond sad. Needless to say,I have a wonderful product I can put my faith in and all the resources I need to follow through with this project, however I would be more than obliged if you all could give me some advice on how I can recruit affiliates for my website?

To be honest, I feel that your industry will be a bit weak when it comes to affiliate marketing. Not a lot of people may be interested in the product/service that you are offering, and in turn, you will receive a small amount of affiliates, and therefore, no leads...

The problem with affiliates is that they will only market something that has high pay outs, and has something that they can get into easily...which will most likely be something they have previous knowledge about.

Your best bet would be to use your current customer base. Use the people who have already used your services, and tell them that if they refer-a-friend they will receive $XX. You can't expect many webmasters to pick up on your website though unless you offer something they just can't turn down...
