I've run my programming and web development forum for 6 years now and I've been able to get a couple grand a month out of it, but I'm interested in getting some new revenue streams going... to diversify a little.

I'm signed up with Azoogle, and CJ, but what's the best way to start making some money?

I'd say find some really useful related software/ebooks on Azoogle Ads (or whatever affiliate company you are using) and write articles that include using the software/ebook in it (therefore people will need to buy this software/ebook to complete the tutorial and do whatever they intend to do successfully) and then publish that on your forum as a sticky.

This is a good place to start asking questions and browsing around the other threads to see what everyone is talking about. I am here for the same reason...to build an affiliate business or businesses that I can work full time. You already have good experience so Im sure there are others that would like toknow how you made a few grand a month from what you are already doing as well.

Here are my suggestions:
Why not start another forum since you have the experience and use this new forum for your new programs.
You can also make use of the money you earn to advertise your new business.

Do you have a list? You can monetize with relevant affiliate offers to your list.

I think the best and easiest way to start making more money in your case is to endorse affiliate products, and add them to your forum pages.

You can also put a link (with a picture) let's say every 5 or 7 posts.

I ' ve seen this on other forums, and it is working great. If people klnow that you endorse it, they will trust you.

Start a thread to explain to thge veterans in your forum why you are doing that.

Selling affiliate products is a must do. You said that you are already promoting clickbank products and others. I have success with clickbank products and also shareasale.com.
