If you mean products related to MySpace as a site, then there are not such products.

If you mean some products that might sell well on MySpace, convert well for you, you can try MaxBounty or AzoogleAds and find some products that might fit your age/location group.

Yea, the MySpace vs Friendster survey has converted very well for me.

(Not of MySpace profiles/bulletins - on MySpace related sites)

This converts at approximately $.05 per click for us and at 1-2%. We have a ton of offers that convert on average at 7-10% and at are you ready for this... $.90per click.

Not to mention we have weekly payments.

We also don't accept MySpace traffic, and boot MySpace spammers/phishers.

I would suggest against it. First, you need to understand that what you're doing is essentially spamming people. It might not be email, but it's close enough to qualify. If the thought of spamming doesn't turn you off enough, MySpace is raising hell with lawsuits against affiliates/networks... might want to reconsider.

You raise some good points... I'm pretty new to the myspace scene so I probably need to research some more. I know don't want to spam people but I guess it's all how you look at it.

they are clamping down on the spammers out there. One was recently sued for doing so. Dont listen to people telling you myspace marketing is dead cause its not.

you must be smart about you marketing on myspace....there are alot things that can go against your but you the commander of the ship!

the way that will get you noticed is to not advertise the fact that you have an affiliate program. lets say for example...you have a dog product...dont say click here to buy my affiliate program that would be plain stupid. Add things like "click here to learn 7 secrets to stop your dog misbehaving" or "Click here for free dog training tips" I guess you get the picture. People will visit and if the sales page is half good you will get sales. remember be inconspicuous about it.

I'm just about to really start putting some effort into my MySpace marketing, I guess I'd just like to re-ask the question at the start of this thread - what sort of programs best convert? Am I best targeting myspace groups and promoting certain programs, i.e., guitar skill programs to guitarists, weight loss programs to slimmers, or am I better just generically promoting paid surveys in larger numbers, which may take less effort?

Thanks in advance for the help, despite running a moderately successful adsense website (not for the money, I might add), this is the first time I've really ventured into net marketing. Great forum/resource here, too.

I have heard they are cracking down as well. I am not sure whether I should continue posting occasional bulletins with links to my site or not. I have to look into what they actually consider spam.

We can do a private commission based affiliate program to promote our FriendAutomator software. You may have read about it on another thread on this forum. It costs $39.95 and we can do $20/sale for a limited time.

You may not use MySpace bulletins or accounts to promote the offer; it is strictly for MySpace-based web sites.

PM me for more information.

Choosing the obvious way is not good like sending mass bulletins, creating fake profiles with pics of hot chicks, comment spam, etc.! But you can use Myspace as a marketing tool though. If you do a search on Myspace and look at 'featured' bands for example, you will see often that those bands also link to their own website. That's clearly promoting their organization, business or whatever!! You must be smart and creative when you promote your stuff through Myspace, creating a profile with quality content is one thing. I don't think that Myspace will ban your profile when you link to another website, the problem is with sending mass bulletins, comment spam, etc. which is 100% spam. Therefore you must be creative with sending traffic to your profile as well!

yeah please dont resort to what i call bogus marketing...yeah you might get a few sales but realistcally you will get refunds because people figure out that you are using unessasary means to bring you sales in.

spaming and sending bogus bulletins is not a good way to market in the myspace environment. I have researched into this and found that the average user is not going to see your message and buy...you have to network and become with friends with them for you to see people buy into your servies or products. It's not just the....whammmm....heres my message....bang....ITS FANTASTIC!! now go and buy.....BANG Unfortunaly that is not the way things are done.

Slow and steady will win the race with both your own products or affiliate profits. If you ask most the gurus they didnt get rich overnight...you might hear one or two stories about...even john reese took many years before he did his million dollar day.......so market smarter on myspace....try to be more inconspicuous and act like you wont to form small groups and then concentrate on forming friendship and you will get sales.

like i said slow and steady will win the race on myspace guarenteed! If you get rich that way who cares, you will probably have more fun along the way...thats why myspace marketing is great...its so entertaining.
