Affiliate Marketing Tycoon

Hello Dear Members,
I am very new in affiliate marketing program. Actually, I don't know anything about affiliate program. I have used Google adsense in 2009 in my blog. I didn't check anything but after reading some articles from this forum, I again feel interested in affiliate program. So, I logged in my Google Adsense account and saw there is $5.75 in my account! I am really amazed

, Today I registered in Google Affiliate Network and applied my blog and it got approved instantly. Inside, affiliate network account, I can only view Google System Generated Ads. Nothing else. I tried to find some links by typing keywords in search box but nothing appears, I also tried to find some advertisers by typing keywords like "finance" in search box but 0 results found! I am confused.

I have learnt that Google adsense and Affiliate network is different. I have read two articles about it. Can anyone please share how to start with affiliate network like Google Affiliate Network? How much time needed to find advertisers?

** I have removed my previous blog from my adsense account and I would like to set my new blog in adsense account and want to display adsense ads in my blog.

*** I think I have successfully implemented google adsense ads into my blog.

Because I am interested and I want to learn. If I don't ask then nobody will share anything, forum is all about "sharing is caring" and this forum is a great place to learn things. Hope you understand.

Affiliate Marketing is very confusing as it has two sides.
Advertisers who sell a product or service (like me)
And Publishers who want to make money. (like the OP ?)

I often think there should be a forum for each.

It sounds like the OP wants to be a Publisher.

I did not know that Google runs an Affiliate program.

I cannot afford to join any Affiliate networks as they all require large deposits.
I have often asked on here for the names of good networks for smaller Advertisers and people keep saying CJ which is a big time outfit.

So I am approaching publishers individually.
