Im surprised there arent more comments here, Im always looking for people to add. Ive been with MoreNiche for 5 years and made about $55k with them, they do diet and beauty products and are very supportive as well as paying on time which is the most important. Visitors are the key point that whether you can make money or not. BTW, I didn't see anyone who is using RegNow.

How much are you all making from affiliate programs? I had websites with around 10,000 vsitors a month and all the affiliate programs I tried generated peanuts.

I am doing affiliate marketing for last two years. I am promoting both clickbank and Amazon affiliate. Both networks are good to make money via affiliate marketing as they have good reputation.

I have been using the affiliate program at seoclerks.com - I haven't really worked hard at it yet and I have been make a small passive income for the last couple of months. A lot of my affiliates keep buying seo gigs every few days

1. Follow up would be good. don't post something and never come back to see if there is a response. Because if they was no response then you could post again reguesting one.

2. Look at forum rules in every forum you post. e.g. here at TT, as long as its not an affiliate marketing site you can put your site link in your signature!

3. Page ranking isn't the be all to end all of marketing. You must have something thats desired or needed to sell. If what you're selling is junk then no amount of advertising or marketing will help... that is....for long anyway.

4. Content is King! You must know your product. know what you're talking about in your content.

5. Customer service. You need to be available to all traffic and/or customers buying from your site. people need to be able to contact you and you MUST respond to those who do whether its negative or not.

In 2005 I have started my first website with our local educational information and my income source was Google AdSense but that was not too good for me. Then I have tried with eBay, Commission Junction, Amazon and many other affiliate networks. That was also not too good for me. It was my bad luck maybe...

However, That was past but currently I am really very lucky...
