The best affiliate networks I have joined are Clickbank, Commission Junction and Shareasale. You may want to consider joining more than one because they all offer different products for you to promote as an affiiliate. This variety makes it that much easier to find suitable products in the niche you choose to get into.

I used to do very well with CJ. Seems though in the past few years it has been getting tougher. Clickbank seems to work well for some people but my luck has been bad. In all honesty, I have a hard time making the money on affiliate programs I do with adsense. Typically I can pull about $200 a day from an adsense site that gets ~1 million visitors a month. The affiliate take from the same traffic however I've never been able to come close to that. Probably has more to do with how I'm setting it up though than what is possible. I think each person has their own style and you have to find the formula that works for you.

I would suggest you try some CPA Affiliate Networks like NeverBlue, AzoogleAds, PeerFly, ClickBooth, Copeac and EWA Private Network, etc. CPA is far easier and more lucrative than traditional affiliate marketing.

Payout has been steady if I can get some friends to bite on the referral.

I have never had great results with any. The best affiliate network is going to be the network that you can best promote on your site. So if clickbank offers programs related to your readers interest - then use clickbank bygod

It depends on the niche you want to target. Personally Amazon has been an amazing affiliate program for me.

Clickbank is well known as one of the biggest affiliate programs. Try them out if you haven't already.

i think click bank is one the best affiliate programs to join, but actually all just same..the different between others affiliate programs just the comission only i think..to success in affiliate marketing, its how you do the marketing...i suggest you try to collect mail list as much as you can..

best affiliate program is the one best fit your resource and skill.

If you don't have resource and skill, try pay per 1000 download program

If you have, just test and find the niche

Yeah, if you find you niche, you can also find the best affiliate program for youself. As for me, sourcingmap is best. It provides variety of cheap products to promote.

I would use affiliate networks when choosing affiliate programs. The reasons for this is there is many niches to choose from in any one network and normally if a program doesn't work and you got one sale from them, then at least you will not lose that money if it doesn't meet the min requirements to receive it. This is because all affiliate network merchant earnings commissions are normally consolidated onto one monthly check.

There is no such thing as the "best" program, it depends on what kind of traffic you have, whether you have traffic for a particular program etc. You have to do your own research. No one is going to give you their top sellers unless they are trying to get referrals and what works for someone else might not necessarily work for you. You gotta experiment.
