Another website that I filled with great content, and filled with "hope", was about this past summers biggest TV show, high school musical 2. At first I was trying to find a way to target teens, then keep them coming back, and have them communicate and fill out a mailing list. the website is called findanagentbecomefamous.com I was getting bewtween 500-2000 unique visitors a day. With this website I made around $287.00 for the month. The keywords "high school musical" were hot. This is what I found out with my affiliate ads. I tried clickbank, neverblue, max bounty, commision junction, linkshare and this is what I found out, Young teens don't buy with credit cards, and don't fill out surveys for free stuff. Teens do however click the adsense like crazy, if they feel it is relavent. After the show aired the traffic went way down, and thats when I started other websites. I also recieved a cease and desist letter from disney lawyers. but by the time I recieved the letter, the traffic was already gone. The site is still up, but I removed all photos and disney mentions, even though it was promoting the movie and the tV company.
I have several thousand email addresses collected from teens around the world, but don't know how to market this. does somebody have an idea if its more valuable then the affiliate conversions?
I am counting on the more successful readers, contacting me with some help, on getting conversions with affiliate marketing. Keep in mind my target is young teens between 12-18 years old. I would really appreciate you writing me back, because I am humble and I would do the same for you, if you asked.
