As recently as 2006, I was working in a pretty decent job as a network adminstrator. It payed good, but the the hours were long and the work was repetitive and not challenging. Basically I had stagnated in my life. I had started playing with building some site, mostly for Adsense revenue, like most people starting out. There was trickles of money here and there, but never enough for me to make a living. Then, I discovered affiliate marketing. Within 2 months, I was making more than at my job. Within 4 months I was hitting top 10 status at Azoogle, and was ready to quit. The money I make now, I never even imagined while working a 9-5. The benefits of affiliate marketing for me are endless: setting my own schedule, recurring income, unlimited income, no customers, no sites to maintain, constant challenge, and its actually fun. You really have to stay on top of your game in affiliate marketing, but the freedom and flexibility of the work is second to none.
