lost a layer in photoshop

I moved a layer off of the canvas on accident. I've been dragging for a bit now and can't seem to get it back. Is there a way to center a layer on the canvas or something?

highlight that layer in your pallet and hit ctrl-t to resize it but dont resize it just move it to the center of the screen again or wherever you want it.

Do a select all and then with your layer you want to center hilighted, go to Layer > Align To Selection > Vertical Centers

Repeat doing Horizontal Centers and that will align your layer to the canvas.

like what he or she said, or you can zoom out (ctrl and - ) and just drag it to the center
