Hi,

So I made a circle and wanted to add a gradient based on a selection that was subtracted from the circle. I did so and tried to do the gradinent and ran into a problem. It is filling the entire circle instead of just the selection. What can I do to fix this?
Thanks.

Which fill mode do you select? gradient or fullfill? I don't think there's any problem with photoshop fill tool. Or fill zone is too small?

well if you made a circle, and lets say you subtracted half and so now you got a half circle, AS LONG THE SELECTION (marching ants) is still there, you should be able to grab the gradient tool and just fade in the colors you want inside that selection.
