New help with Abobe illustrator (makeing Round corners at the top of box)

i am trying to make a box with rounded corners at top and normal box corners at the bottom but when i try i can only make both bottom and top hope someone can help me i have been trying for age's. Sorry if the question is so basic i am a total beginner so please bear with me.

You can do 1 of 2 things.
Draw a rounded-rectangle box and then modify the points on the path for the bottom corners until they are square, or

Draw a normal square box, and modify the top corner paths to be rounded.

You can also draw a square and then draw a rounded rectangle with the same width. Place the rounded rectangle in position. Then go to the pathfinder tool box and hit the merge button.
