Photoshop book recommendation

Hello every1,
I am a programmer and would like to learn Photoshop...
Which book or books do yo recommend me to buy?
Any good websites with tutorials?

I started out with a book named Photoshop 7 by Robert Shufflebotham. I picked it up at my local Barnes and Nobles for 9.95. While it is not real in-depth it does give you the basics. From there you can step up and get a better one, but I think this is a good place to start.

real world Photoshop 7 by David Blatner and Bruce Fraser - its about $35.00 (800 pages)

Adobe's Classroom in a book is available for free right now at their web site. Also all their other Classroom titles. Don't remember the url.

Well, for the very beginning standard Photoshop Tutorial is not bad at all, especially if use it with samples

ive never been a big book learner - phong.com has some great tutorials and there are a few other sites similar

the only book ive ever even browsed thru was a friends photoshop WOW book and it was put together very well, simple step by step things... covered most graphics
