How do i edit text that is saved in pdf?

I have a ad that was sent to me in pdf form, what do i need to do to be able to edit it?

You might need to use one of the versions of Adobe Acrobat to make edits. If it's just the one time you can also grab a free 30 day trial to make the quick change.

I don't use PDFs a lot, but I would guess there are also some free alternatives you can find if you search. You do need something more than the Adobe Reader though.

You could get some OCR software i think. I think it stands for Optical (something)0 Recognition. I could be way wrong but I think I remember something about that.

You definitely need either a full version of Adobe Acrobat or some other PDF editor.

I just did a project editing a pdf for a manual where the original files were lost.

I used PitStop which is an enfocus plugin made just for editing pdf's. It worked great and you will also need to have Adobe Acrobat 7.
