Does anyone here recommend any particular books? I have figured out most everything I know for Photoshop, But I'm sure there's stuff I'm missing. Better to know too much as too little I figure I could save some time by finding it myself than asking questions.

I loved "Photoshop 7 Bible" by Deke McClelland, and there is the CS version too - I'd recommend this one.

I don't really like using books, they are just about all filler info about the history n all. When i want to learn something i usually use tutorials, they are way more easy to read and understand. Try www.good-tutorials.com they got like 10000 or soo.

Tutorials are good for one shot instances of effects, it will not teach you the whole breadth of features that Photoshop is capable of.

There are many books on PS, the "Bible" books are excellent. My best suggestion to you would be to go to one of the big booksellers, like Borders or Barnes and Noble, take a few of the Photoshop books off the shelf, and sit down and flip thru them. When you find the one that suits your style of learning, take it. Not all the books are written the same and not everyone learns the same way. I don't like the O'Reilly books, for instance, because the way they're written doesn't suit my learning style.
