Okay so the main problem I'm having is that when I convert my vivid image to pdf I can keep my vivid image but for some reason it blows the image up a bit...so it looks normal only when viewed at 75% but when at 100% it's horrendous...

When you convert your psd file to pdf you must set the maximum resolution for your images..
I dont know if that helps but would be better if post some screenshots with examples...

Are you saving it as a pdf from Photoshop or are you printing it to a pdf file? If you're printing it look for an Adobe pdf option dialog and set it to 'Press'. If your saving it from Photoshop I usually usually choose JPEG quality level 12 for the Encoding.
