Hi,
Im using photoshop and require to create some buttons that are transparent with just text

ie send, confirm, delete and cancel

each button(transparent).gif will be used on a web page and when rendered, one of two colors will be used to create a background color using CSS

My problem is that my gif when created , shows white pixels arround the edge of the font.

Is there anyway I can prevent this happenning.

Cheres

Turn off anti-aliasing on your text. The reason its there is because your text edges has slight transparency on it. You'll have a couple pixels that have, for example, 50% opacity. GIFs don't recognize an partial transparency like that, it's either completely transparent or not transparent. So thats how you get the white pixels. Turning off anti-aliasing will keep the text from being "blurred" like that and therefore get rid of the white pixels.
