I am using photoshop cs2 so this may be slightly different. Another thing when i did this the background color was black. I'm sure you could do it with a different background color but it may be slightly different.
First off open the image you want to mirror.
copy the entire image and paste it on a new layer thats showing below the original layer.
Be on the new layer and go to edit->transform->rotate 180 degree's
be on that layer again and go to edit->transform->flip horizontal
line up where you think the image should be mirroring accordingly.
at this point you should have the image and the same exact image backwardsa and upside down but you shouldnt be able to see this layer if you have a solid background.i would imagine you dont want the reflection as clear looking as the original.
double click the old layer and go to the bottom where it says "blend if..", Slide the first bar (this layer) over until it makes the other pic show through. I found on the pic i was working with go to about 11 255. Then click ok.
now go to the newer upside down layer and double click on the layer. Go to the color overlay tab and set the color to the color you want the reflection. In my case black. Then change the opacity to the amount you think you should have the new layer fadded out, i have mine on 53%.
that should be about it, I did find that on mine with a solid black background after altering the origonal pic i have to insert a new backgroundlayer that was solid black. You might need to do the same. If this doesnt work for you, post the pic and i'll see what i can come up with.
