Licence Number plate segmentation

Hi to all,

I am charlotte, new to this forum and to adobe photoshop. I have been using photoshop 7.0 for the last two weeks.

I wonder if anybody out there know how to segment or crop a licence number plate into individuals character? How do you segment a number such as BNC489XL. Please help.

I would use the CROP tool.

Located on your ToolBar Which is RIGHT BELOW the lasso tool(looks like a rope).

Once you have selected CROP simply expand the box (as if you were creating a square) over a single character and then HIT "enter". Save the image. Do this for each character.
