When adding guides in Photoshop you have to go to View>New Guide to create a new guide...however I do not see any hot key commands next to it in the menu like other options. Is there in fact no command to do this? If anyone knows how to do it that would be great...going through the menu is a pita when you have to create multiple guides..

You don't have to use the menu to add a new guide.

Make sure your RULERS are displayed (CTRL+R or View, Rulers)

Then all you have to do is click on the ruler and DRAG a guide down or across to where you want it. Piece of cake - no menu clicking. You may have to zoom way in to pixel level to put the guide exactly where you want it.
