I think #2 might be better but the kid on logo needs further polished, IMO.

The second one is the best. Simply because it is more original and memorable. I would fix the font a little, as mentioned.

I am already beginning to forget number one and mesh it in with all the other logos that look like it (Twitter?). But the second one is stronger in my mind.
